Breakeven Verdant String #2 Summary ð 8 Dee had been fighting one war only to find herself caught up in another When circumstances leave Dee stranded on the Breakaway planet of Lassa she has to choose take the easy way out or stand and fight an enemy much like the one she left behind on her home world of Garmen For Sebastian leading the Lassian resistance ha. OK I loved this book and could hardly put it down but I have to admit that our heroine was just about 2 steps below Superwoman and our hero was just along for the ride which explains why not 5 Stars BUT I did love the overall story and the sexual tension between the two was entertaining if for no reason other than they seldom got to act upon it with the continuous interruptionsLet me start by pointing out that you really need to read book 1 of this series Breakaway to appreciate how she got into this situationBottom Line Lot of action over the top heroine for any relation to reality but entertaining all the same 4 Stars

Michelle Diener is one of only two SciFi Romance authors I love All of her books I read were Super Amazing All received my rating of Five Stars Breakeven was no different It was everything I expected and Dee was a courageous heroine Super smart could think on her feet a first class warrior and best of all in Sebastian s eyes she was like the golden light that spilled over the planet each morningSebastian broke my heart as the leader of the Lassian Resistance who fought a losing battle His people were starved to the brink of death To Dee s eyes when they first met Sebastian was a little too lean like food was rationed His resistance force had no resources left but seemed to fill with hopeless traitorous moles Having Dee showed up in his life at such catastrophic moments and to fight on the Resistance s side was like a miracleThe entire story was heart pounding thrilling fast pace do or die never ending battle I just couldn t put the book down Every moment could be the final the end of everything I was beyond ecstatic when they triumphed in the end The romantic scenes were so rare thus so precious so beautiful Sebastian could convince you better to love him and to give his story a chance Here s what he said to Dee I was close to going under when I met you and you ve reminded me that there are some good things to be found That there are some beautiful thing in this world and while I m sorry I involved you in this mess I ll never be sorry I met you
